The reason Kayos has a lighter is because she smoked. (She dropped the habit after she got cyber lungs. d: )

There are a lot of sad habits in Kayos's past. Heavy drinking, murder, a lot of casual sex (some of which she didn't agree with at all...) and smoking. All before she even met Felix. That little kid was a preacher and changed her from her would-be deadly sins. xD
